COVID-19: Implications for our customers and impact on the courts
(UPDATED ON FRIDAY MARCH 20TH, 1:09 PM)
In an effort to protect the public and our employees during the coronavirus outbreak, beginning on March 17th, Empire Law Group & Traffic Ticket Pro will be closed to walk-in traffic until further notice. For our existing clients, some limited appointment scheduling will be permitted (case by case basis as necessary). Essential services will be provided online, via telephone, text message and by email.
Need help with a traffic ticket?
If you are a prospective client, we can still assist you. All you have to do is text message, email or fax the following items and we can setup everything electronically; picture of ID, email address, and a picture of the citation(optional). Once we receive your information we will send you an invoice and retainer electronically. We will not accept payment in person at this time, only via our online options (Squareup.com).
Are you an existing traffic client with questions about your court date?
Please note, many courts are closing to the public, adopting new administrative procedures, and using alternative options to resolve traffic cases. During this period of time the procedures will be changing for each court, and we will adapt accordingly to best represent our client’s. We have the opportunity to represent thousands of people each year, and have recently had a dramatic increase in phone calls from clients who are concerned about their cases. We ask for everyone to be patient, as we anticipate upcoming changes. If the court postpones or reschedules your court date the court will not place your citation into warrant status for the original date not having an appearance for it. The court is in charge of the scheduling, and obviously would not change the date and then penalize a Defendant for not appearing at the earlier date that the court had in fact changed.
Existing client with the following types of cases; Personal Injury, Accident, Family Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense.
You can use the internal staff contact information on our website to make any inquiries about your existing case.
